During product development, Ortho incorporates cybersecurity into its products’ design, and this design strategy is continued throughout product lifecycle management. Ortho has a continuous monitoring program for cybersecurity and routinely evaluates our products for emerging threats to ensure mitigation efforts meets regulatory and industry requirements, as well as our customers’ expectations.
Ortho is an active member of the Health Information Sharing and Analysis Center (H ISAC) and often engages with industry experts and regulatory and the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed) ISAO to stay informed within our industry to strategically prepare for and respond to cyber and physical vulnerabilities.

Ortho has a Cybersecurity Incident Response Plan and Team that maintains the security of our information systems, products, services, and data. Ortho utilizes the United States of America National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework to identify, protect, detect, respond, and recover from incidents in a timely manner.
